It would be lovely to have someone cook gourmet meals for you every day wouldn’t it? WELL do I have news for you! Today’s blog is looking at the catered lifestyle at Exeter.
What is catered accommodation?
Catered accommodation is a type of living available in your first year. If you’re in a catered room, you will get your breakfast and dinner supplied for you and on weekends an additional brunch. Our chefs are wonderful, take a look at one of our sample menus to see the variety!
Catered accommodation can be a great choice for your first year at University. With all the changes that you’ll be experiencing, not having to worry about cooking for yourself can take a large stress out of your settling-in. No need to worry about food shops and washing up! Although you will need to take into consideration the additional prices (which include food)

If you are living in a catered residence, you will take your meals in one of our communal dining halls. This is a great opportunity to make friends and gives you a great sense of community. Self-catered students can also get meals on a pay-as-you-go basis, so your friends from other residences are welcome to join you for a meal too!
We can’t wait to see you in September, please check our Facebook and Website for updates on what is going on!
