For many of you, the rising cost of living will be having an unprecedented effect on your finances. In this blog, we hope to highlight a few ways you can save money and make your living experience more comfortable whilst studying at the University of Exeter.<\/p>\n

Super Savour Kitchen<\/strong><\/p>\n

Even if you\u2019re living in catered halls, you\u2019ll need lunch. If you\u2019d like a nutritious and sustainable hot meal that costs less than \u00a33, look no further than the Super Savour Kitchen<\/a> in Devonshire\"Image House (DH2). A regular-changing Dish of the Day (think cottage pie, pasta bakes and curries) and pastries cost just \u00a32, while omelettes and jacket potatoes with a variety of great toppings and a side of salad can be bought for \u00a32.99.<\/p>\n

You can also find jacket potatoes and soups\u00a0on a Super Savour menu in La Touche<\/a> and Cross Keys<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Cheaper Coffee<\/strong><\/p>\n

Get coffee for just \u00a31.25 at a Barisca self-serve machine, located in Market Place Forum and St David\u2019s Shop. Help yourself to a range of regular-sized coffees using your own reusable cup or a takeaway cup for an additional 40p.<\/p>\n

Too Good To Go<\/strong><\/p>\n

With the Too Good To Go<\/a> app, you can buy unsold food from a variety of restaurants and supermarkets in Exeter, including the University\u2019s Market Place, at a much lower price. Morrisons, for example, offers a Magic Bag containing \u00a310 worth of items for \u00a33.09.<\/p>\n

You won\u2019t know the exact contents of your bag until you\u2019ve bought it, but everything is labelled clearly and depending on which business you buy a bag from, you could receive packaged food, fresh ingredients to make your own dishes or even hot meals.<\/p>\n

Meal Package Card<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re a self-catered student who spends long days on Streatham campus and would like to eat at our catered residences, you can!\"\"<\/p>\n

Student Art Pass<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you love art, history and science, a Student Art Pass could be for you. For just \u00a35 a year, you\u2019ll have free entry to hundreds of museums and galleries across the UK, as well as 50% off major exhibitions. In select places, including the Royal Albert Memorial Museum, the Art Pass can get you 10% off caf\u00e9 and gift shop items too.<\/p>\n

Additionally, you\u2019ll gain access to paid arts opportunities and creative competitions and be able to join the #WeAreArtful community to grow your network.<\/p>\n
