…when the weather is hot. Well after all the glorious weather we’ve been having recently, it’s certainly put me in the summer mood and reminded me that it actually isn’t too far away.
The summer is a time when many of our students will be going home and enjoying the luxuries of home cooked food, catching up with friends/family and having their laundry done for them (lucky you). However, some students decide to stay at the University especially if they are doing research projects, have a part time job or are still studying hard. For those of you who are staying on campus from 21 June onwards, we do have some summer accommodation available at the University.
We are pleased to be able to provide summer accommodation at James Owen Court for Summer 2014. For those of you who don’t know, James Owen Court is centrally located in the city centre close to the Odeon cinema and an approximate 15-20 minute walk to both the Streatham and St Luke’s campuses. It is ideal for those of you who wish to experience the city centre lifestyle and be close to the local amenities, shops and nightlife of Exeter. Welcome back to those of you who are returning this week after the Easter vacation, I am actually impressed at my ability to type coherently because of all the chocolate which has been consumed over the past few days! There are a number of Students’ Guild events and University events taking place over the next few weeks to keep you all entertained. The Accommodation Office will be back in the Forum for our drop-in sessions from Monday 28 April between 12:00pm-2:00pm, if you have any queries about your accommodation or need any information then please do come and see us and we will be happy to help you out.
