So tomorrow, we wave goodbye to many students who have been staying within our residences on a 51 week contract tomorrow. However, we are also welcoming many prospective new students to our Open Day for those looking to join us in 2015/16. It truly is a weekend of ‘Hello/Goodbye’, within the Comms Team, we have been singing the Beatles song “you say goodbye and I say hello”.

If you are moving out, please make sure you look at the moving out guide for information on how to leave your room and what you need to do with your keys.

Those of you who are visiting us tomorrow for the open day, please make sure that you have visited the website for further information about the day. The Accommodation Office will be on hand to answer any questions that you may have, we are based in The Forum and also by Cornwall House directing you towards our various accommodation tours.

We wave goodbye to Comms team Grace tomorrow who has been helping us to answer all of your enquiries. If you are coming along to the Open Day then you may get to meet Grace. The Accommodation Office wish Grace every success with her PGCE at the University of Exeter.

Yesterday marked the end of the Accommodation Office Baketition and the last bake was done by our very own Benjamin. He delighted us all with some millionaire shortbread and it was seriously scrummy. This means that you will no longer be bombarded with images of cake – hoorah. However, I will leave you with a gallery of all the cakes which have been made so far in this competition. Tomorrow we are all looking forward to fruity Friday – it is much needed.

Well done to Jess for winning first prize with both her Oreo cheesecake and banoffee cheesecake. Andrew came in second with his blueberry and cinnamon muffins and Harriet won the third prize with her lemon drizzle and chocolate meringue. Congratulations to you all.
