It doesn’t seem that long ago that you were all heading home for Christmas. However, what with pancake day taking place yesterday (hopefully not too many got stuck to the ceiling) and getting ready to celebrate the Chinese New Year on campus this Saturday between 1:00pm-6:00pm we are already half way through term 2 and should start looking at what to do over Easter!

Are you living in catered accommodation and need somewhere to stay for the Easter vacation between 28 March – 26 April 2015? We have some self-catered rooms available to rent for the full Easter period. If you are interested in Easter vacation accommodation please contact us or come to one of our drop-in sessions in The Forum (via SID) between 11:00am-3:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

If you are staying on campus this Easter, why not consider a part time job for the duration of the break? Do you have an enthusiastic approach to work?  Are you passionate about customer service? If you have answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions then we need you:

  • Campus Services are looking for casual workers to work as part of the Housekeeping team in University residences.
  • You could earn some extra cash over the Easter period and get to work alongside a great team and meet new friends.
  • Flexible working hours and shifts are available.  No previous experience necessary as full training will be given.

Please visit the University of Exeter job site for information and details on how to apply. The closing date for applications is Friday 27 February.

Are you stuck for food ideas? Why not check out Student Cooking TV and see some of students learn to cook some tasty treats. Have a look at the ‘rate my roast’ video where you’ll see one of our resident chefs Paul Christian take part.
