The blog this week is only a short one because many of you are leaving your accommodation and so we only have a few reminders for you.  For those of you who are joining us in September, please remember that you can contact us at any time between 9:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday to help with your queries about applications and arrivals.

Moving out – Saturday 20 June 2015
Recent blog posts have provided information on the moving out procedure for students leaving accommodation. It is now the time for our self-catered students to depart their 40 week contracted rooms this Saturday. Please ensure that you refer to the Moving Out guide and the useful flyer which provides you with information on your departure. May we take this opportunity to wish you a great summer and we look forward to seeing you in September.

Events on campus
If you are remaining in Exeter over the summer vacation then make sure you take a look at the university event pages to see if there are any on campus events which might be of interest to you. To see what is going on within the city, take a look at the What’s On Exeter guide.

Community Challenge Day
In last week’s blog, I mentioned that the Accommodation Office were on our Community Challenge Day at Hannah’s at Seale-Hayne last Wednesday. Well what a day we had, many of us took part in chopping willow and bracken ready for a new community garden to be put in place within the grounds. This involved the use of saws and bull hooks and a lot of strength. Please see the below slide show for some images of the day and to see what we got up to. Hannah’s are always on the search for volunteers and it’s an excellent place to visit with their art galleries, tea rooms, cafe and shops.
