From tomorrow, all residences will be available to book an arrival slot online. Please see Monday’s blog post for further information. If you have been nominated to Point Exe, Northfield or The Printworks, you will need to arrange your induction and arrival through them directly. We are receiving a number of enquiries about arriving with us at the university, please see below for some frequently asked questions.

What do I need to bring?
Our moving in webpages provide information about what you need to bring and what needs to be done prior to your arrival with us. Please ensure that you look at the below checklists which provide useful items which will see you through your first night*.

*It is not recommended that those within self-catered each buy a 12 piece dining set because if you are sharing the kitchen with other people who all decide to bring a dining set, this is a lot of washing up!

What size is my bed?
The bed sizes are available on each individual residence webpage under the tab ‘room details’. For those students who are living within Rowe House and are unsure if they are currently allocated to a double or single bed, please contact the Accommodation Team who will be able to update you. Our virtual tours show how some rooms within our accommodation should look in order to give you an idea about what to expect.

What to expect
We have a number of videos available on our YouTube site which provide information about life at the University of Exeter and what you should expect.

If you have any questions, then please do not hesitate to contact a member of the Accommodation Office on 0300 555 0444 or by emailing: sid@exeter.ac.uk, we are available between 8:30am-6:00pm this week.
