Room numbers
We are receiving a number of enquiries from students who are wondering why they have not been made aware of their room number when other students know theirs. This is because the Student Records team have began transferring information between our systems and those of you whose details have been transferred are able to see this, whilst others are still unable to. Your room number will also be visible to you either when you register with the University of Exeter from 7 September 2015. Please note that even though some students can see their room number, this is still subject to change and will only be confirmed when you arrive.
Endsleigh insurance
The University of Exeter provides a basic level of insurance cover but please ensure that you check the policy details prior to your arrival. To do this enter in our policy number HH1134 at Endsleigh to check the details and to:
- Check what is covered
- Check key exclusions and limitations
- Check your policy excess
- Check how to make a claim
- Extend and personalise your cover to protect laptops, phones and other valuables
It is important to find out exactly what you are covered for, as you may find that the contents cover is not sufficient and you need to extend it to protect all of your possessions both inside and outside of your room.
StudentCom
In order to receive high speed wired and wireless internet whilst you are in University of Exeter accommodation, please note that you will need to register with StudentCom prior to your arrival with us. Any queries about StudentCom should be directed to the company themselves.
