This week we are looking into accommodation deposits and also quashing the rumour about some residences being sold out already:

Accommodation Deposits
Last week we were able to start sending offers to many of our postgraduate students who applied during April, so if this was you, please check your email inbox for an email from us.

For those students who have accepted and offer and paid their accommodation deposit of £300.00 but have noticed their  account is still saying “awaiting deposit” please note that it can take up to 48 hours for a deposit to be processed. The offer will not expire as long as you have accepted the contract. If you have not received a confirmation email after three working days, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Residences selling out
Northfield, The Printworks and Point Exe are our nominated residences which means that the University of Exeter has secured a number of rooms for our students only. If these residences advertise on their own individual websites that rooms are ‘sold out’ please rest assured that these do not include the rooms which the University of Exeter have alrady secured. You are still able to submit an application to any of our nominated residences and we will match you with other students as detailed within our room allocation procedure.

Terms and conditions
We have recently updated our terms and conditions for students who will be joining us in September 2016. You are also able to view our 2016/17 Residents Handbook which provides useful information about your time studying at the University of Exeter.

Next week’s blogpost will be a guest blog written by the Wellbeing Team. They will be letting you know what support they can provide for our students prior to application and once you are at the University of Exeter.
