This weekend we welcomed 25,000 people on to campus for our Open Days where students could attend lectures about the courses they are interested in, go on a tour of the campus and also view our accommodation. We provided a copy of our 2016/17 Accommodation Guide for those who were in attendance, however, please see below for some useful information about accommodation for those of you who are interested in joining us in coming years.
Am I guaranteed University accommodation in my first year?
First year Undergraduate and International Postgraduate students with a firm offer for a University of Exeter course are able to create an application for accommodation between mid-April (during their year of entry) and 31 July* in order to be guaranteed a bed space. Detailed information about our accommodation guarantee is available within our January 2016 blog post.
*Dates may vary for students joining us in 2017/18 and onwards, please check our website nearer the time for updated information.
If a student is either not guaranteed University accommodation or does not wish to live in our accommodation for their first year then they could consider private housing.
How can I view the accommodation?
We were only able to show a certain number of our self-catered and/or catered residences on our Open Days due to current students still being in residence. We therefore are able to provide virtual tours of many of our rooms and galleries of images for you to explore.
