Pre-arrival waiting list for room moves
From today, we are unable to add any new students to our existing pre-arrival waiting list for room moves. This current list will only be reviewed until Friday 9 September and if we have been unable to move you to a new residence prior to your arrival with us, you will move in to your confirmed and accepted residence.
If students wish to move residences, including any students who were added to our pre-arrival waiting list, they will need to submit a ‘Changing Room or Residence’ form via SID Online. This will be available from 9 September. Please note that the Accommodation Office will start going through the waiting list from Monday 3 October and will be able to offer rooms in order of availability and priority.
Private housing
If you are looking for private housing within the city then we recommend visiting www.exeterstudentpad.co.uk to see what shared housing, lodgings and rooms are still available. Our website is updated on a daily basis to show what is available through larger providers within the city. Preparing for your arrival
I cannot believe that September is here already which means that our new students will be arriving at the University of Exeter this month. I can imagine that many of you will be frantically trying to organise yourselves read for your first day with us. Please view our Arrivals and Freshers’ webpage for information on what to do and what you can bring.
Click2Campus
There are many items including starter packs and bedding packs available through Click2Campus. You will need to check your individual residence webpage for bed sizes*. These packs can be delivered to your residence reception in time for your arrival.
*If you are placed within Rowe House then some of the rooms have single beds and some of them have double beds, so please contact us in order to check which size bed you will have.
Accommodation Office Opening Hours
The Accommodation Office opening hours will change from Monday 5 September and are available by telephoning 0300 555 0444 on the dates/times detailed below:
- Monday 5 and Tuesday 6 September – 8:45am – 5:15pm
- Wednesday 7 – Friday 9 September – 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 September – 9:00am – 5:00pm
From Monday 12 September the Accommodation Office will be available by phone between 9:00am-5:00pm. We will also be available within our SID drop-in sessions in the Forum between 9:00am-5:00pm if students wish to discuss anything with us about their accommodation.
