There is just more day to go until our Arrivals Weekend, please make sure that you have read the Arrivals and Freshers’ Week pages of our website and viewed the Moving In Guide 2016 to ensure that you have packed the correct items and have done everything that you need to do prior to your arrival.

Preparing for your arrival
As per our blog post which went live yesterday, some online arrival bookings closed at midnight last night for some residences and all other residences will be closing at midnight tonight.

If you havenā€™t yet booked your arrival time, please contact us on Friday to let us know the day/time youā€™ll be arriving.Ā  We would suggest avoidingĀ the middle of the day between 11:00am-3:00pm.

Please note that priority will be given to those who have already booked an arrival time and you will need to speak to the parking attendants upon arrival to arrange a time to unload.

You are still able to access and complete the eInduction before your arrival to ensure a smooth transition when moving in to your residence. Please view our ‘How to complete the online eInduction’ video for information on how to access this.

Unexpected delays
We have been made aware that the swing bridge on Bridge Road situated on the A379 in Exeter will be closed on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 September. You will therefore need to use Junction 29 of the M5 to get to the University. We recommend viewing live traffic updates which can be found on various websites including BBC Travel.

If you are delayed on your journey and do not think you will be able to make your anticipated arrival time, please contact the Accommodation Office on 0300 555 0444 between 9am to 5pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday so that we can update your residence.

Current Students
Once you have arrived in your accommodation, you will be classed as a ā€˜current studentā€™ so make sure you look at our dedicated webpages which provides you with easy access to your residents handbook and our ā€˜residents information’ webpages.
