Welcome to the University of Exeter, we are now well into the swing of Freshers’ Week and many of you have started arriving at you accommodation. You are now officially ‘current students‘ and our blog will be updating you on a Thursday at 10:00am with current events and news for this academic year. We will keep our Facebook page updated throughout term time with any important information for you all.
Residence/Maintenance issues
If you have arrived in your residence but have noticed a fault with anything in your room, then this will need to be reported to your residence reception directly and not via SID. Within your Residence Handbook on page 16, you will be able to review the maintenance response times.
The Residence Life Team are also on hand if you have any welfare queries within your residence and require any support. They also cover our nominated residences. To find out who to contact, please see their website.
Not yet arrived to your accommodation?
Our Arrivals Booking System is open once again for you to register your arrival to your University of Exeter accommodation. For those students who have accepted an accommodation contract starting 11 September, you will be able to book an arrival slot up until 12 October. For students who have contract start dates after 11 September then you will be able to book an arrival slot for up to 7 days after your start date. Please view our ‘how to book an arrival slot‘ video for information on how to complete this.
How to pay
Monday 19 September is the date that the first instalment of the accommodation fees are due. To review your instalment amount, please refer back to your accommodation offer within your accommodation account.
Payments can be made in many different ways, see the ‘how to pay‘ pages for further information. Please note that if you choose to pay the full accommodation fee amount upfront then no discounts are given. Any queries about paying the accommodation fee or to look into setting up a payment plan, please contact the Accounts Receivable Team directly.
