If you have received an offer to study at the University of Exeter then you may have been invited to attend one of our Offer Holder Visit Days which are taking place between February-April 2017. The first one takes place on Wednesday 15 February. This week we are looking at what you should expect from one of these days:

What is an Offer Holder Visit Day
An Offer Holder Visit Day gives new/prospective students the chance to learn more about their chosen subject and meet with current students and teaching staff. Visitors are able to go on student-led tours of both our Streatham and St Lukes campuses, view the sports facilities and see some accommodation. This gives a real taste of university life at the Exeter.

What accommodation can I visit?
To give an example of our self-catered accommodation, we will be showing Lafrowda (Streatham  campus) and Rowancroft (St Lukes campus). For our catered accommodation we will be showing Holland Hall (Streatham). These visits are arranged via self-guided tours and in order to arrange a time, you will need to book in within The Forum for Streatham tours and the North Cloisters entrance for St Lukes.

Tours are running between 10:00am – 3:30pm at Streatham and 9:00am-1:15pm at St Lukes . Please ensure that you also have a look at which other self-catered and catered accommodation options are available via our website. If you wish to see some of the other residences we have but are not being shown on the visit days then please see our virtual tours which offer a 360° view.

What information will be available?
Members of the Accommodation Team will be available throughout the day within the Forum Street to answer any questions or queries that you might have. No question is too big or too small. We also have three University Living presentations which will be taking place at the following times:

  • Wednesday – 10:45am*, 12:30pm and 2:30pm*
  • Saturday – 10:00am, 11:30am and 1:45pm

* 10:45am and 2:30pm presentations are based in seminar rooms 7-9 within the Forum. All other presentations are taking place in the Forum’s Alumni Auditorium both based within the Forum

The presentation will cover all aspects of the accommodation process including how to apply, the accommodation guarantee, how we allocate rooms, when we make offers of accommodation, the prices and contract lengths and what is available to students who live with us.

We look forward to seeing you there, please do pop by and say ‘hello’ and pick up some information about accommodation. Remember that there is no question too big or too small.
