Welcome back to those students who are returning this weekend following the Easter vacation. Please see below for a few key points and reminders to prepare you for your third term:

Moving back after Easter
Students in catered halls can move back to their residence on Sunday 30 April from 9:00am. The first meal available on Sunday will be brunch from 11:15am. If you have any queries about your return, please speak to your residence reception directly. In last week’s blog post we mentioned that the Exeter Festival of South West Food and Drink will be taking place across 28 April – 1 May and this may mean that there is more traffic on the roads during this time.

Moving out of your accommodation early
In the third term, many students may not stay at university for the full duration of the term depending on when your exams and/or lectures end. Please note that if you decide to leave your accommodation earlier than your contract end date then you will remain liable for the fees for the full period of your contract even if you do not reside in accommodation.  Further information about this is written in an earlier blog post.

Third term catered menus
The menus for the third term are now available on our website. Meals this term include: fish pie, burritos, Chinese vegetablestar wars dumplings, gammon Steak pizzaiola and so much more.

This year, our catered halls will once again have a varied menu for Star Wars Day on Thursday 4 May (May the fourth be with you!) Click on the menu to the right to find out what treats are in store to tickle your taste buds.

Remember, if you are currently living in one of our self-catered residences then you are more than welcome to purchase a meal at a catered hall throughout the term and join us at one of our themed events.  Please visit a catered hall reception prior to the meal in order to receive a meal ticket. Prices are:

  • Breakfast – £4.00
  • Brunch  – £5.80
  • Dinner – £6.75
