It’s Graduation Week at the University of Exeter this week and everyone is getting ready with their gowns and mortar boards ready to collect their degrees. Whilst they have now completed their studies, we are fully preparing for those of you who are ready to arrive with us in September and we can’t wait. This week we are looking at our Accommodation Guarantee and availability for our postgraduate students:
Accommodation Guarantee Deadline
There is less than two weeks to go until our Accommodation Guarantee deadline of 31 July 2017. Please ensure that if you fall within our guarantee that you have submitted your application on or before this date. Any undergraduate applications received from 1 August onwards will not be covered by our guarantee and will be dealt with on a first come, first served basis.
Have you submitted your application?
We have nearly 200 students who have their application held on a ‘complete but not submitted’ status. This means that you have completed the application but have not submitted it to us. If you are unsure whether you have submitted your application, you can check by logging into your accommodation account and checking via the ‘My application and booking’ section. Please refer to our ‘how to video‘ for further information on submitting your application.
Please ensure you submit your application prior to 31 July.
Postgraduate availability
Applications for our International Postgraduate students who are covered by our Accommodation Guarantee are dealt with on a first come, first served basis. At present, we have availability in the following areas:
- Birks Grange Village Studio – 40 week contract
- Birks Grange Village Studio – 51 week contract
If you are a Home/EU student, we plan to update you on your application during August. At this stage due to current demand, we are unlikely to have rooms available and we recommend that you seek private accommodation within the city. Further information about this is available on our website.
