We now have less than a week to go until our Accommodation Guarantee deadline of 31 July. Please see below for information about our guarantee. We are also looking this week at completing your online induction and booking your arrival slot in preparation for Arrivals Weekend (15-17 September).
Accommodation Guarantee
Monday 31 July marks our Accommodation Guarantee Deadline day. If you are covered by our accommodation guarantee, you will have until 11:59pm on Monday to submit an application for accommodation in order to be guaranteed a bed space at the University of Exeter. Applications received from 1 August 2017 onwards will be dealt with on a first come, first served basis and we can therefore not guarantee you a bed space. Track your application
We mentioned in last week’s blog post that a number of students had completed but not submitted their application. Please visit our ‘track your application‘ webpage to see whether your application has been received by the Accommodation Office.
Induction and arrivals
Arrivals Weekend takes place across 15-17 September and we have therefore updated our website giving you all the information you need in preparation for your arrival in September. This includes information about completing your induction and booking your arrival slot.
Emails are being sent out over the next week for students who have already confirmed their accommodation booking for 2017/18. If you have not received an email then please note that these are sent through our automated system and an email will be sent to you after you up to a week after you have received your ‘Contract Formation Email.
Please note that the arrivals booking system is residence specific and it might not be available for all students immediately and you will receive an email once this has become available for your residence.
How to videos
We are currently in the process of adding some more ‘how to videos’ and by Wednesday of this week you will be able to view:
- How to accept an offer of accommodation
- How to complete the online induction
- How to book an arrival slot

Offers to undergraduate students with an ‘unconditional firm’ status
If your course offer has been updated to ‘unconditional firm’ recently then we will send your offer of accommodation by the middle of August.
