Are you an International Postgraduate student or a year one undergraduate student who has submitted an application for accommodation from 1 August by 24 August and have a confirmed academic place at the University of Exeter? We will be able to offer you accommodation and will be sending out offers by email next week (29 August – 1 September).
Offered accommodation in one of our nominated residences?
We have now started to pass information on to our partners who will be contacting students allocated to these residences to discuss the contract and arrivals process. This may take until next week but we will reserve the room until they have been in touch.

Accepting an offer of accommodation
Offers which are being sent out today will have a five day expiry date. The expiry date is the date in which students are required to accept the accommodation offer by and pay the £300.00 deposit. We have created a useful step by step video to show you how to accept an offer of accommodation.
Online eInduction and Arrivals Check-In system
This system has been closed this week whilst we have been busy sending offers out. We will be re-opening the system this weekend and if you haven’t received an email about booking your arrival slot already, you will receive it by Saturday. Please view our ‘how to videos’ in relation to the eInduction and your arrival slot for a step by step guide on what you need to do.
Paying a deposit
If you have accepted your offer of accommodation and are due to pay your accommodation deposit, please note that it can take up to two working days for a deposit to be processed on our system and therefore within your accommodation account it will show as “awaiting deposit” until this goes through. With the weekend and the bank holiday, this may take a little longer so please bear with us and hopefully for those of you have paid between Friday 25 – Monday 28 August, you should receive your ‘Contract Formation Email‘ confirming your booking from us by Wednesday 30 August.
Your offer will not expire as long as you have accepted the contract. If you have not received a confirmation email after three days, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Bank Holiday information
With the bank holiday weekend approaching, please note that the Accommodation Office are not available during this time and the office will close at 6:00pm on Friday 25 August. If you are sending an email to us it will be answered from Tuesday onwards. We will be available from Tuesday 29 August and can be contacted by telephoning 0300 555 0444 between 8:30am-6:00pm throughout next week.
We will have scheduled posts going out on our University of Exeter Accommodation Facebook page throughout this time, however, this page will only be managed by staff from Tuesday 29 August between 9:00am-5:00pm.
