We are receiving many calls about student room numbers and what to do if you wish to order an essentials pack to your residence. Find out this and information about unavailable times of arrivals below:
Seeing your room number when you register?
We understand that some of you can now see your room numbers upon completing your online registration. Please note that these room numbers are still subject to change until you arrive with us and receive your room key. Your residence and block will remain unchanged.
I want to order an essentials pack but don’t have my room number
If you are thinking of ordering an essentials pack through Click2Campus then these packs can be delivered to your accommodation reception in time for your arrival. Seeing as you will not receive your room number until you arrive, we recommend that you include your nine digit Student ID number and provide your residence block and address. This information can be found on each individual self-catered or catered residence page. These will get delivered prior to your arrival.
Arrival time unavailable
If the arrival time slot you wanted is no longer available then, you will be able to turn up on either Saturday 16 or Sunday 17 September before 11:00am or after 3:00pm and speak to one of the Marshalls or Parking Attendants available on the day. They will be able to advise you when a space will be free in order for you to park and move in to your accommodation. We would advise you to aim to arrive at either 15 minutes past the hour or 15 minutes to the hour and priority will be given to students who have used our on-line booking system so you may be asked to wait in another location until there is a space for you unload at your residence. Please do not book an arrival time on our system if this is the case.
Freshers’ Events through the Students’ Guild
Now is a great time to take a look at some of the official Freshers’ events being offered by our Students’ Guild Team. Events this year include: clay pigeon shooting, canoeing, theatre trips and a Harry Potter themed picnic, to name but a few.
Accommodation Office availability
Please note that the Accommodation Office will not be open this weekend. We will re-open on Monday 11 September from 9:00am. The Team will be available between 9:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday on: 0300 555 0444. You can contact sid@exeter.ac.uk if you have any queries over the weekend and we will be in touch with you by the end of the day on Monday.
