This is our last current students blog for the second term. We will return again with our first blog post of the third term on Thursday 26 April. This week we are looking at summer accommodation availability and a who is around over the Easter Vacation:
Who to contact over the Easter Vacation
The Accommodation Office will be closed from Friday 30 March – Monday 1 April for the Easter weekend and will re-open from 9:00am on Tuesday 3 April. You can contact us throughout the vacation or by messaging us via our Accommodation Facebook page.
Our Accommodation drop-in sessions will start again on Monday 30 April between 11:00am-1:00pm Monday to Friday in the Forum via SID.
Our residence reception webpages have been updated to include their times of availability over Easter. Don’t forget that if you have a maintenance query or a repair which needs to happen in your room, that you will need to contact your residence directly about this.
SID will be opening 8:30am-6:00pm Monday to Friday but will be closed over the Easter Weekend. You can still email SID and they will respond as soon as possible.
Summer accommodation – what is it?
The option of self-catered summer accommodation is available for students whose contracts end in June/July but wish to remain in university accommodation for longer. It is also available for any current, registered University of Exeter students who wish to stay in our accommodation during the summer vacation with a valid Student ID card. Summer accommodation is available between Saturday 23 June and Saturday 8 September 2018 for a minimum contract length of four weeks*.
*The four weeks can be extended up to 8 September 2018 in accordance with availability.
What accommodation is available for Summer 2018?
This year, we are able to offer a single en-suite room at James Owen Court single en-suite room for £138.39 per week. Please note that you will need to pay in full, in advance of your stay within five working days after you have accepted your accommodation offer.
How do I apply?
Applications for summer accommodation will open on Monday 23 April 2018 and will be processed on a first come first serve basis. These rooms are subject to availability. For further information please see our summer accommodation webpages.
