This week we are looking at offers being sent out to both undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as the amount of time it takes for a deposit to come through to us. Also are you still working on your application or do you think it has been submitted?

Complete but not submitted
There are a number of applications in our system which are showing as ‘Complete but not submitted’. This means that you have saved your application can be amended before submitting.  However, your application needs to be submitted before it is received by the accommodation office and considered for allocation. You can find out more in our ‘track your application‘ webpage.

Please remember that undergraduate applications that fall within our Accommodation Guarantee need to be submitted by 31 July 2018 in order to be considered. International postgraduate applications are dealt with on a first come, first served basis and early application is advisable.

To see a step by step guide on submitting an application, please view our YouTube Video.

Postgraduate offers
All postgraduate students who fall within our Accommodation Guarantee and applied for accommodation by Thursday 31 May 2018 will have now received an offer of accommodation. Please remember that postgraduate student applications are dealt with on a first come, first served basis and we may not have one of your preferences available at the time of sending you an offer. We aim to get offers sent out within a week of application.

Undergraduate students with an Unconditional Firm offer
Students with an unconditional firm offer for a course at the University of Exeter who have applied for accommodation will receive an offer of accommodation by the end of June. Please keep in touch via our Facebook page to find out the exact date that these will be sent.

Deposits and confirmation
If you have received an offer of accommodation and have paid your £300.00 deposit, please note it can take up to two working days for this to show up on our system. This does not come through instantly. You room booking will be confirmed with us once a ‘Contract Formation Email’ has been sent. If you have not received this after four working days of paying your accommodation deposit then please contact us and we can look into this for you. Find out more about your deposit and what this goes towards on our website.

Please remember that all correspondence from the Accommodation Office will be sent to you via email using the email address you provided within your accommodation account. This email can be amended at any time if you are going to be away and need someone to access this on your behalf.
