Live Q&A
Last week we invited you all to join in our Live Facebook Q&A session whereby we answered your questions about arriving with us in September. We even did a tour of a Birks Grange Village en-suite room – these rooms are the exactly the same in style as our Lafrowda and Duryard en-suite rooms. The video can be viewed below  and answers your questions about:

– Arrivals
– How we allocate rooms
– When you are likely to hear
– If you will find out who you are living with
– Whether you can move rooms
– What happens if you are arriving early

Essential repairs and maintenance
Birks Grange Village is one of our residences which will have  essential repairs and improvement works taking place during the 2018/19 academic year. Some of the blocks affected will also be located at our Lafrowda and Duryard residences.

The two main categories of works planned:

You can find more information about this in our Guest blogpost as well as watching a video from our current students detailing what it’s been like living in an affected block. Please see these below for the video and also maps of the affected blocks:

Finding out your student ID number
You need your student ID number in order to apply for accommodation. This is different from your UCAS number. For those of you joining us in 2018/19 you will have been provided with a nine digit number starting with a 67 or 68.

This will be quoted in the information sent by the University after you firmly accepted our offer of academic place.

Please add sid@exeter.ac.uk to your safe contacts, particularly if you are using an @hotmail or @live email address, so our emails don’t go to your junk/spam folder.

If you are unable to apply online please contact us.
