We are receiving a number of enquiries about accommodation fees and when they should be paid for 2018/19 as well as when your contract starts: See below for further information:
What are the accommodation fees for Residences whose contracts are issued by the University ?
Your accommodation fees are shown within your accommodation account and are available when you accept your offer. Once you have registered as a student you will also be able to view them by logging into iExeter. The accommodation fee can be paid at the beginning of the academic year in full, or in three termly instalments which are due by the following dates:
- Autumn Term (Term 1) – 8 October 2018
- Spring Term (Term 2) – 14 January 2019
- Summer Term (Term 3) – 6 May 2019
- Vacation (Term 4 – applies to 51 week contracts only) – 24 June 2019

Please note that this is a manual process and it is down to you to ensure that your accommodation fees are paid by the dates shown above. What are the accommodation fees for Residences whose contracts are issued by one of our partners?
Please note that payment dates may vary for students who are allocated to one of our nominated residences. These students will receive their accommodation fee information from that residence directly . Please see the ‘other’ tab within our residence reception webpage for contact information.
My contract date says ’16 September’ what happens if I am arriving before?
Please remember that although contracts start on 16 September, students are able to arrive for our Arrivals Weekend at various points over 14-16 September for no extra charge. Please refer to our terms and conditions 2018/19 for information. Any students arriving before 14 September will have applied under an ‘early arrival’ application and will have received information about payment.
