Who’s excited about the new Forum Kitchen opening on campus?!

If you are already a student you would have seen the bright new venue and probably have smelt the delicious food in the air. If you are joining us in September (we can’t wait to welcome you) then let us tell you about this awesome new place.

The Forum Kitchen is a unique space for students, staff and visitors to meet, eat, drink and socialise. It is set right in the heart of campus on the South Piazza of the Forum.

The venue is somewhere for you to collaborate with peers, socialise with friends, take a break for your wellbeing and refuel when you need too.

The idea behind the Forum Kitchen is that it will always be serving up different dishes for you to experience and enjoy. This will be done by having different independent food vendors come in and serve up some of their tasty dishes to each of you. The vendors will change every few weeks, meaning that you can get a real taste of local Devon foodie businesses right here at the University!

The venue is split in to pods with each pod serving up different delights. This term we have seen a yummy selection from our guest vendor, serving up their naughty chicks menu with a variety of meat and meat-less mains, fries, tots and sides! The University pod has been serving up Indian street food, including Avada Pav and Chaat Masala Fries!

The Forum Kitchen will also be celebrating world calendar events and will have menu take-overs to engage the University community. It will have longer opening hours to assist with the all-important study sessions you will be needing and is a unique space for events and gatherings.

Check out which traders are appearing and the essential opening times on the Forum Kitchen webpage. And make sure to follow @ForumKitchen on Instagram to keep up with the foodie action. Warning – their photos may make you super-hungry!
