If you have accepted your offer and paid your accommodation deposit but your accommodation account is still saying “awaiting deposit” please note that it can take up to 48 hours for a deposit to be processed. Your offer will not expire as long as you have accepted the contract. If you have not received a confirmation email after three days, please do not hesitate to contact us.

By the end of today, we plan to have sent out offers to those students who have met our guarantee and had their academic place at the Exeter campus confirmed by Tuesday 18 August. If your academic place has been confirmed since Wednesday, we will be sending you an offer next week. If you applied by our guarantee deadline and you have not received an offer, please contact us next week for an update.

You will probably now be starting to think about your arrival at University so today’s blog is about the arrival process.

Our on-line system will open from Monday 24 August and in order to ease traffic congestion we ask students to book an arrival time in advance. The opening of the booking system will be done by residence/block which will open on different days next week, so please check your emails and keep up to date through this blog in order to see when it is available for your residence to access.

eInduction
Before you are able to book your arrival time you need to complete the eInduction which provides you with important information about your stay in university accommodation. Please note that there are no tests for the eInduction and as long as you have looked through each page and have ended on the ‘Thank You’ page, that is all that is required. You will then be able to continue and book your arrival.

Booking an arrival time
Our Arrivals Weekend is between Friday 11 September* – Sunday 13 September 2015. To be able to book your arrival slot, you do need to have accepted your accommodation offer and paid your £300.00 accommodation deposit. Once the arrivals system is available for your specific residence, you will be able to login and book your arrival time. This means that you can register a car for your arrival and will be given a 20 minute time slot by your residence in which to unload your car. There will be some car parking spaces in and around the campus and the city centre throughout the day but they do get busy.

Arriving late
If you are arriving after the Arrivals Weekend or out of the reception opening hours you will need to contact the Accommodation Team to make them aware of your arrival time. We will then send you an email advising you where and when you are able to collect your keys just before Arrivals Weekend.
