ID-100271974So our first Offer Holder Visit Day has been and gone and we are preparing for our second one tomorrow. Over the next few weeks I will be answering some of the common questions which you have been asking:

What are the prices for 2016/17?
The prices are now available on our website for 2016/17. Please see the both the self-catered price list and the catered price list for further information. To find out more about the contract lenghts and the dates of the contracts, please see our terms and conditions and look under the ‘lengths’ heading.

What happens if I am deferring my place?
For students who have deferred their place or are currently on a gap year and will be starting at the University of Exeter in September 2016, please note that applications for accommodation open on 11 April 2016. For students who will be deferring their place and will be starting at the University of Exeter in September 2017, please note that you will need to apply for accommodation from mid-April 2017.

We encourage all students who are applying for accommodation on a deferred place to submit their application by the end of May in order for offers to be sent out from June onwards.

Couples accommodation
Many prospective students have enquired about couples accommodation and if they are coming with a partner who is not a University of Exeter student is it possible to have a room together? This is absolutely possible, as long as one person within the double occupancy room is a University of Exeter student, the other person does not need to be. The contract is in the name of the student and all that we require is the full name and date of birth of the person that you wish to share with. For further information about family/couples accommodation please visit our website.

Next week, we will be looking at answering some more of your questions from the Offer Holder Visit Days.
