Moving out of catered accommodation
Many of our catered residences are booked for conferences during the Easter Vaction which means that as well as vacating their accommodation, some students will also need to clear their belongings. Please check with your residence reception to see if your belongings can remain in your room during this time. Please see the Easter Vacation Moving Out flyer and our Easter Vacation information 2016 which provides information about departing during this time.
If students within catered residences need self-catered accommodation between 26 March – 24 April then please contact the Accommodation Office on 0300 555 0444.
Students living in self-catered residences
If you are staying in your residence between 25 March – 22 April, we need to know so that we can plan for essential maintenance and so that Estate Patrol know where you are in case of an emergency. To let us know, please:
1. Log into SID
2. Click “log an enquiry”
3. Select the category, Accommodation > Easter vacation
4. Answer the category questions and enter a title and description
5. Click “Preview”, then “Log now”
Opening times
During the Easter Vacation, the opening times of residence receptions may vary during this period. Please check to see when your residence is available. To see what cafes and shops are open over Easter please view this flyer.
The Accommodation Office will close at 5:00pm on Thursday 24 March and will re-open at 9:00am on Tuesday 29 March. If you need us during rest of the Easter Vacation then please contact us or visit SID and a member of our team will be able to come and meet with you.
