Flatmate finder event – Tomorrow
On Friday 3 March between 7:00pm-8:30pm, why not pop along to Pieminister in Devonshire House and take part in the Students’ Guild Flatmate Finder event where you are able to meet other students who are also looking for flatmates.
If you are unable to attend the event tomorrow then don’t forget you are able to ‘search for sharers’ and to add yourself as a ‘sharer’ using the Studentpad Messageboard.
Fairtrade Fortnight
To support Fairtrade Fortnight which is running until 12 March, various Eat and Shop outlets across campus are offering regular fairtrade hot drinks for just £1.00 between 10:00am-11:00am and again at 2.00pm – 3.30pm. This will take place in La Touche, Terrace, Roundhouse and X-Keys.
Pancake Day
Did you manage to see our Facebook live video with Residences Head Chef, Rob Doidge and Residence Life Team Helen showing you all how to make some pancakes? The recipe for the pancakes can be viewed within the comments section of the post. I can confirm, they were delicious!
Sports membership
The Sports Park have recently announced that student membership prices are now reduced (see above). If you’re interested in finding out more about this then take a look at the ‘joining’ webpage of the Sports Park website to see how you can sign up. You could even take part in some of their many fitness classes which include: Body Pump, Studio Cycling, Pilates, Aqua Fit and so much more.
