Do we have accessible rooms for students with a medical requirement?
In line with the Equality Act 2010, the University of Exeter does provide adapted, accessible rooms for students who may need one. As well as this, we also endeavour to make reasonable adjustments to support individuals who, due to disability, a long-term medical condition or sensory or physical impairment require a particular location to help them participate fully and enjoy a fulfilling university experience. Students are required to discuss their requirements with one of our support services prior to applying. Further information about this is available on the our website.

Please note that the total contract cost provided is not due as one lump sum. It can be paid in three termly instalments which will be detailed in your offer of accommodation. What are the meal times in catered halls and where can I see menus?
To see examples of menus and to find out more about catered halls, please visit our ‘about catered halls‘ page. You will notice that each meal does include at least one vegetarian option daily. The meal times for catered halls are shown below:

We do recommend that if you are interested in living in catered halls that you consider your academic timetable as sometimes lectures may go on a little later than the normal timetable day. It is usually students studying a medicine course or drama course who are affected, so please double-check with your college before submitting an application.

Please note that our catered halls are most suited for undergraduate students and mature students are asked to apply for one of our self-catered residences.

Can you have a meal in a catered hall if you live in self-catered accommodation?
If you are living in a self-catered residence then you are able to purchase a meal in a catered halls. Prices may vary for 2017/18 but are currently:
