Welcome to our 2017 Freshers

Arrivals Weekend is here!! Welcome to all of our Freshers who are joining us for 2017/18. We hope you settle in well this weekend. Please see below for some useful tips and tips about your arrival now that you are officially a current student:

You are now a current student
Please take a look at our current student webpages for everything you should possibly need in relation to your accommodation. This includes a copy of our Residents Handbook and residents information for 2017/18.

Speak to your residence reception
If you have any queries about your room or your residence, then you will need to now speak to your Residence Reception in the first instance. Their information can be found on our contact us page. If you need to speak to a member of the Accommodation Office then the reception will direct you to us.

Request to move rooms
If you were placed on our pre-arrival request to move then this list is now null and void. If you have not been contacted prior to your arrival then we have been unable to process your request. From today, once you have arrived, you will need to submit your own request to move form, if you still wish to move rooms. You will need to log this in the following way:

• Login to SID with your IT username and password. You can then log an enquiry via SID Online, using the Accommodation: Changing room or residence FAQ pages.
• After clicking ‘Log an enquiry’ from these pages you should see a ‘Request to move’ form to complete with a series of drop down menus.
• Please complete and submit the enquiry, and we will respond to you as soon as possible regarding availability of rooms.

If you have any queries and need to contact the Accommodation Office then we are available between 9:00am-5:00pm across Arrivals Weekend by telephoning 0300 555 0444.
