We are nearing the end of Freshers’ Week and hopefully you are all settling in to life at the University of Exeter. May we also take this opportunity welcome back any returning students who are staying with us this year, we do hope that you’re getting back into the swing of things. Please see below for some useful updates:
We are here – come and chat to us
Members of the Accommodation Team are available in The Forum Monday to Friday between 9:00am-5:00pm. If you wish to discuss anything with us then pop along to the SID desk and they will place you within our queue.
Please remember that if you have any queries about your room or your residence, then you will need to now speak to your Residence Reception in the first instance. If you need to speak to a member of the Accommodation Office then the reception will direct you to us.
Moving rooms
We are getting enquiries from students wishing to move rooms. In order to be considered for a room move or a change in residence, you will need to submit a ‘Changing Room or Residence’ form within SID. Information about how to complete this is available on our website.
Support on campus
We have created some pages for our International Students providing you with information about life in the UK and life in Exeter. These pages are useful for all students especially the information about what support is available to you. It includes the contact information for our AccessAbility, Wellbeing, Students’ Guild, Estate Patrol and Residence Life Teams.
Point Exe students
Point Exe have a number of events taking place over the next six weeks in order to welcome their residents. If you are living here then check the ‘Residents Life’ board for information on this. There will be pumpkin carving and making gingerbread houses and so much more.
