An email will be sent to you all over the next few weeks with an update on what is happening over the Easter vacation. Check your emails this weekend if you’re living in catered halls and from week commencing 19 March if you’re living in self-catered accommodation.
Easter vacation – catered students
Students who are living in catered halls will understand that they are required to move out of their residence during the Easter vacation. The dates for this are:
- Move out: Saturday 31 March by 10:00am
- Move back in: Sunday 29 April from 9:00am
Only students living within Holland Hall will be required to take their belongings with them during this period. There are no storage options available on campus, so please see our FAQ pages for information on local storage providers. Further information about your departure during this period can be found on our moving out webpage and will be provided within the newsletter sent to you shortly. This includes information about staying on campus in one of our self-catered residence during the vacation period.
Term two events
Don’t forget to take a look at the Residence Life webpage to be kept up to date on all events scheduled this month. This includes a free of charge Easter Egg hunt taking place on 22 March.
Snow-tal disruption
Thank you to you all for your patience during the disruption of service at our campuses during the severe weather in Exeter last week. Our special thanks go to our residences teams who worked incredibly hard to keep the service as normal as possible and worked out in the snow to clear pathways to keep you all safe. Here are a few images of Daria and Neil from Birks Grange Village and Donna and Russell from Exeter Halls providing support. There are also some pictures of our residence taken by Helen Anderson of the Residence Life Team and of Exeter city in the height of the snow taken my Catherine Moore from the Accommodation Office (aka – me!)
Our normal services have now resumed and we are available for contact by telephone (0300 555 0444) by email (sid@exeter.ac.uk) or by messaging our Facebook page between 9:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday. If you wish to speak to us in person then why not pop along to our drop-in sessions between 11:00am-3:00pm in the Forum (Monday-Friday)? Please visit the SID desk to book your place with us.
