Today is our Accommodation Guarantee Deadline (Tuesday 31 July) and if you fall within our guarantee, you have until 11:59pm tonight to submit an application in order to be covered. Please see below for information about this and also when you will hear about your Arrival or eInduction:
Accommodation Guarantee Deadline
Once your application for accommodation has been submitted to the University of Exeter, you will receive an email from us titled ‘Application for accommodation at the University of Exeter’. Within this email you will be given an application reference number. This is how you know that your application has been received by us. If you believe that you have submitted your application, please double-check the application status on our ‘track your application‘ webpage because you may have only saved your application.
In order to be covered by our Accommodation Guarantee we will need to have received your application for accommodation by 11:59pm tonight.
Applying after the Guarantee
If you want to apply for accommodation from 1st August onwards then we strongly encourage students who are coming to the University of Exeter to apply for accommodation once you have firmly accepted a course offer with us. From this date, University accommodation will be limited however, we will update our blog, Facebook page and our dedicated webpage with the latest information as it becomes available.
As well as submitting an application for University accommodation, you may decide to arrange your own accommodation and if this is the case, we recommend that you look at our private housing options which include purpose-built accommodation, very similar to university accommodation.
Please allow TWO working days from your course offer being made firm for your details to transfer to our accommodation system. Only once your information is in our accommodation system will you be able to activate an accommodation account.
Arrivals and eInduction
Many of you are asking when our online Arrivals Booking System and online eInduction will be live in order for you to submit your chosen time. We are currently testing our system and hope that you will be notified by no later than Friday 10 August with information that this system is now live. You will be notified by email and we will update our Arrivals and Freshers’ webpage with information.
