It’s Fri-Yay! From next week our times will be 9:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday and we can be contacted on 0300 555 0444. Today we are looking at Arrivals and Freshers’ Week events and what happens if your time slot is unavailable:
Advised that you would receive an offer?
If you received an email from us last Thursday advising that you would receive an offer this week then please note that these offers and/or an update about your offer will be sent by no later than 5:00pm this evening.
For students on our waiting list who were contacted by us yesterday, fto advise that they would receive an offer of accommodation, then this will be sent to you early next week.
Arrival time slots – what if it’s unavailable?
If you have accepted your accommodation offer, paid your deposit and received our ‘Contract Formation Email’ then you will by now, have received an email advising you to book your arrival time slot. If you have not received an email but received your Contract Formation Email before 31 August, then you will still be able to login to the system to complete this.
If the arrival time slot you wanted is no longer available then you will be able to turn up on either Saturday 15 or Sunday 16 September before 11:00am or after 3:00pm and speak to one of the Marshalls or Parking Attendants available on the day. They will be able to advise you when a space will be free in order for you to park and move in to your accommodation. In this instance, we recommend you aim to arrive at either 15 minutes past the hour or 15 minutes to the hour to ease the flow of people arriving at the same time. Priority will be given to students who have used our on-line booking system and have a pre-booked slot so you may be asked to wait in another location until there is a space for you unload at your residence. If this is the case, please do not try to book another arrival time on our system.
