This week we are looking at what’s happening for the rest of January and into February. Find out when our returners applications open and if you are eligible to apply:

Essential building works – student drop-in sessions
With the works taking place at Lafrowda, Birks Grange Village and Duryard for 2019, there is the opportunity for you to come along to our monthly student drop-in sessions to chat to University staff and to catch up on the project work. The next session is on Thursday 31 January – Peter Chalk 1.3 – 13:00-13:30. If you do have any questions about the work taking place, please email: residencefeedback@exeter.ac.uk

January/February residence life events
There are a number of events planned throughout term two which are detailed on the Residence Life webpages. See below for what is happening for the rest of January and into February:

These are an excellent opportunity to meet with other students and to explore the local area and surrounds all for a greatly reduced price.

Returning students
We touched upon the returning students accommodation within our blog post last week. This is a reminder that applications open on Monday 28 January 2019. Prices for 2019/20 will be updated on our website by the end of this week.

Please note that returning accommodation is only for students who, due to a disability, a long-term medical condition or sensory or physical impairment require adapted accommodation or a particular location in line with the Equality Act 2010. You will need a supported application in order to apply for accommodation. Information about this is available on our website.

If you do not fall in line with the above then you will need to seek private accommodation within the city. We have a vast amount of information and advice available on our dedicated webpages. Please note that there are still plenty of rooms/properties available.
