Today marks the start of our 2020/21 journey and an insight into University life for our prospective students. Every Tuesday at 11am between now and September we will be posting a blog specifically aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate offer holders who are thinking of joining us for the 2020/21 academic year.
What will the blog cover?
Over the next few weeks we will be introducing you to the different accommodation options here at the University of Exeter and what will be available to you on both the Streatham and St Luke’s campuses, as well as in the city centre. We will take a look at our Accommodation Guarantee to explain what this means and whether you are covered by it, and important dates for applying. If you don’t feel that living in halls of residence is for you then we will also cover alternative housing options. We will also have some guest blogs from current students as well as staff who are here to support you.
What should I be doing now?
Firstly, there is no need to panic. Our applications for 2020/21 entry do not open until 9:00am on Monday 6 April 2020. So the best thing you can do now is spend the time researching your options and deciding what would be best for you. A good place to start is our Accommodation website where you will find an area dedicated to prospective students. The website contains all the information you need to know on the different self-catered and catered residences, locations and prices, and explains when and how to apply. Set yourself a reminder to check out our blog every Tuesday, or you can like our University of Exeter Accommodation page on Facebook where we post regular updates.

If you have been given an offer to study at Exeter then you may be planning to attend one of the Offer Holder Visit Days which run in February and March. The Accommodation Office will have a stand at the Information Fair on Streatham Campus so you can come and chat to us in person, or attend one of our Accommodation Presentations on the day.
