Good move

This week the Residence Life Team have moved house, so I wanted to show off our new office! We’re now based in Mardon in a great new space where students can visit us, including a specially-built private meeting room in case you need to talk about anything personal.

(Of course, you can still see the Team Leaders every evening in their offices – the Red Team are based in Lafrowda House, and the Yellow Team in Birks Central Block – see here for which team is which.)

We love our new office (we’re especially enjoying the massive old fireplace – we have grand plans for Christmas stockings) and we hope you’ll drop by to see us soon. Until then, here are a few pictures of our unpacking getting underway…

Good call

From tomorrow (24^th October), the phone number for SID will change, to help keep your call costs to a minimum. The new number is 0300 555 0444 – if you’re calling from a mobile, calls will be at the same rate as to a standard landline number (or included in your minutes, if you have them). Thanks, SID!

Good times

So, are you having a good time at Exeter? What with Freshers’ Flu, endless rain, work stacking up, and a dwindling bank balance, Term 1 can frankly start to drag a bit around now – and late nights, lack of exercise, and living off takeaway pizza play a part, too.
