This tune has been in my head ever since I got caught in the rain on my way home yesterday so felt the need to make it this week’s blog title. (More so, in the hope that by me doing this, it should leave my head!)

In last week’s blog, I mentioned that applications for our returning students were open for the limited number of Birks Grange Village Studios which we had available. We had a vast number of students apply which now means that for those students who have applied or will apply following Wednesday 22 January; your applications will be held on our waiting list. However, we are unable to guarantee if any accommodation will become available and if this does happen, it is unlikely to be until nearer to the start of the academic year in September 2014. Those who have applied prior to this date will be notified by the beginning of next week.

If the above statement has now put you into a frenzied panic then please do not worry because there are still so many accommodation options available for 2014/15. Take a look at Studentpad and see what accommodation is available in the private sector.

Finally, we want to know what you think of your accommodation. We are currently updating the accommodation webpages and would like some feedback on your rooms, your residences and the staff that have supported you. Do you have anything to say? If you do, whether it is good or bad, let us know so we can either shout about it for our 2014/15 freshers or we can resolve any issues. Please leave a comment for us via this blog, send us a tweet or facebook message with your comments.

Do-do-do-do-do-do-do…singing and dancing in the rain! (It didn’t work).

(The misty picture was taken by me on Monday 20 January. I had to stop and admire the view because it looked so beautiful. Aren’t we lucky living in such a glorious part of the world?)
