Alas! The time is finally upon us where we are nearing the end of the second term and you only have one more term to get through before the SUMMER (oops, I shouldn’t say it too loudly because I don’t want to scare the sun away!) It is always a long and cold few months to get through but you are there, you have done it (Hoorah!) and you can now gorge yourselves in chocolatey goodness to see you through the next few weeks.
If you are currently in catered accommodation then you need to vacate over Easter and take all of your belongings with you. If you’re unsure what this includes, please refer to our moving out guide. Make sure you speak to your residence reception for information on what is happening within your own residence for Easter.
Those of you who are in self-catered accommodation, it might be quite useful to spend this time de-cluttering your room and having a good old fashioned tidy up. Perhaps take some of your belongings home that you won’t need in the third term, however, try and do your laundry first before taking it home…poor parents!
If you are staying on campus over the Easter vacation, take a look at The Students’ Guild events to see what exciting things you can get up to.
Our Accommodation Drop-In Sessions within The Forum will not be running over Easter, however, we are still available to help answer any queries that you may have during this time. You can contact us via the Student Information Desk and we will be available 9am-5pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays). Our Accommodation Drop-In sessions will be back up and running from Monday 27 April between 12:00-2:00pm.
The blog will still be running over the vacation, so do check in to see what we’re up to. We will have information for any prospective students due to the applications opening on 14 April 2014. In the meantime have a great break and travel safely.
