ADHD@Exeter  – This collaboration includes academics who conduct ADHD research at the University of Exeter. With our work and this page we aim to bring together people with lived experience, clinicians, and academics with an interest in ADHD and neurodevelopmental disorders.

We conduct scientific research on ADHD, and work across the areas of health, education and social care. Our research is designed to understand the needs of young people with ADHD, and to provide evidence for health and education services about how they can better support those with ADHD and neurodevelopmental difficulties.

With ADHD@Exeter, we are linking up our expertise across the University of Exeter and beyond. The initiative is led by Anna Price, Tamsin Newlove-Delgado and Abby Russell (link to profile pages), who specialise in a variety of research methods including service mapping, developing new support strategies and epidemiology (using data from large numbers of people with and without ADHD). Our work aims to directly impact on the way that our health, social and education systems support those with ADHD and other neurodevelopmental challenges.

Scientific research on ADHD is fast-moving, and new evidence is being generated all the time across the world. In Exeter, we collaborate with a wide variety of partners across the UK and worldwide to ensure our research is high quality and relevant to those who work with, support, or have ADHD and other neurodevelopmental challenges. We work closely with members of the public and non-research professionals to do this, see our People & Partners page for more information on who we are currently working with.

ADHD@Exeter is based within the Children and Young People’s Mental Health Research Collaboration chyme | University of Exeter Medical School | University of Exeter in the Department of Public Health and Sports Sciences  University of Exeter Medical School Public Health and Sport Sciences | Faculty of Health and Life Sciences | University of Exeter.
