<\/div>\n\n\n\nADHD@Exeter connects scientists at Exeter conducting research into ADHD with experts by experience (e.g. people with ADHD and their families) and those providing services (e.g. healthcare professionals and educators). Our work is focussed on improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We aim to help children and young people to thrive, by speeding up the pace at which effective healthcare, social care, and education for ADHD is made available across the UK. Including through co-development of trusted and effective digital resources. By connecting a broad range of experts, and focussing on systems-level solutions, we facilitate innovations in ADHD research on a local, national, and international scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your support will help us in two key areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\nHealth and wellbeing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n- Speeding up the delivery of the SmartADHD<\/em> app enabling us to reach patients sooner, initially in the UK and later, globally.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Working flexibly with people with ADHD, building strengths in the workplace through inclusive working approaches, and by providing training, and skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Supporting children, young people, and families to \u2018wait well\u2019 for a neurodevelopmental assessment, and providing support for living positively with suspected ADHD.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n
Education<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n- Developing the Tools for Schools prototype website into a professional model that can be accessed by education settings across the UK.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Covering the costs of online hosting and signing up new schools and colleges, meaning more schools will benefit from our resources, sooner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Expanding work with education settings to raise awareness of ADHD and other neurodevelopmental conditions, focussing on positive ways to change school environments to support all students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
