Science for Society and Policy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We believe that scientific data must be translated into actionable strategies. Our outreach program focuses on three areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Farmer Engagement:<\/strong> Working with local farms and the Instituto Ouro Verde<\/strong> to identify “carbon-smart” practices like silvopastoral systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Policy Support:<\/strong> Contributing data to improve global carbon estimates and helping Brazil meet its Paris Accord commitments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Education:<\/strong> Building on our Amazon outreach programs and outreach material to inspire the next generation of ecologists.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
