The programme will feature a keynote, a panel discussion on \u201cChanging the world with experiments\u201d, contributed talks, posters, and ample time for networking and collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hosted by the <a href=\"https:\/\/business-school.exeter.ac.uk\/economics\/people\/academic-subject-themes\/behavioural\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Behavioural &amp; Experimental Economics Group<\/strong><\/a>, Department of Economics, University of Exeter, in partnership with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bee-uk.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>UK Network of Behavioural and Experimental Economists<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;(BEE UK).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dates:<\/strong>&nbsp;25 \u2013 26 June 2026 <br><strong>Location:<\/strong>&nbsp;University of Exeter Business School<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note that there will be a summer school on \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/store.exeter.ac.uk\/conferences-and-events\/faculty-of-environment-science-and-economy\/event\/implementing-experimental-designs-best-practices-for-software-programming-summer-school-2026\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Implementing Experimental Designs: Best Practices for Software Programming<\/a>\u201d to be held on 22-24 June 2026 at the University of Exeter just before the conference. Her research in applied microeconomics uses randomized controlled trials to improve health behaviours &#8211; often among children and low-income families &#8211; and to support job seekers with better information. Her publications include the<em> Review of Economic Studies<\/em>, <em>Review of Economics and Statistics<\/em>, <em>Journal of Health Economics<\/em>, <em>PNAS<\/em>, and <em>The Economic Journal<\/em>. Using experiments, he studies voluntary cooperation under free-rider incentives and the interplay of material and psychological incentives. His publications include <em>AER<\/em>, <em>Econometrica<\/em>, <em>Science<\/em>, <em>Nature<\/em>, <em>JEP<\/em>, <em>JLE<\/em>, <em>JPubE<\/em>, <em>JEEA<\/em>, <em>Management Science<\/em>, <em>Nature Human Behaviour<\/em>, and <em>Nature Communications<\/em>. He is also a Senior Advisor in the Evaluation Task Force in the UK Cabinet Office and H.M. Treasury, and an advisor to several multinational firms, start-ups and charities. He is a Fellow of the Royal Economic Society and holds a UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship. Previously a senior leader at the Behavioural Insights Team, she established its North American office and led social policy work.
