Here are some of the definitions people gave:
“For me it’s just spending any time near any body of water …that could be a stream, it could be an estuary, could be a lake, it could be a pond”
“a canal…a reservoir…it doesn’t have to be a naturally occurring thing. Just somewhere where there’s some water”
“blue space for me means being outside, the open air, a mixture of the sea and the sky”
“it doesn’t have to be blue…blue spaces to me are wet essentially”
Many people talked about the green spaces, buildings, animals and birds in and around blue space as being important in creating the whole experience.
