Some of these definitions included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>blue skies<\/li><li>blue glass objects<\/li><li>or was redefined to be \u2018wet spaces\u2019 as UK \u2018blue spaces\u2019 are often not a beautiful blue!&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Generally, throughout this resource when referring to \u2018blue spaces\u2019 we mean areas including water. Although <strong>we encourage you to reflect on what would count as a \u2018blue space\u2019 for you<\/strong> as this is likely to be individual.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Blue Spaces Project&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A team at the University of Exeter developed a research project exploring how people with experience of bipolar disorder and\/or psychosis interacted with blue space, and if those interactions influenced their mental health or wellbeing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To do this, we interviewed 19 people about their relationship to blue space. We then invited these people to contribute to designing this online resource in the aim of sharing their experiences and our findings further. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is hoped that this website will be of help and interest to others, including those without experience of bipolar or psychosis.
