We have been working with a new community association, The Friends of Hoopern Valley, supporting the University of Exeter’s management of Lower Hoopern Valley as a public green space and biodiversity hub.
The group is hoping to engage students and other residents alike, hosting fun and engaging activities while promoting environmental awareness and stewardship.
They are hosting their first Annual General Meeting on 20th November 2024 at Exeter Phoenix; 7.30pm-8pm social in the lounge followed by 8pm-9pm meeting in the workshop space. You are invited to join them to meet the trustees, learn about their charitable aims and hear from the University of Exeter’s Grounds and Sustainability teams around their efforts in Lower Hoopern Valley.
