The campus is springing into life and so is the Grounds Nursery!
So much excellent skilled work goes on behind the scenes; propagating and grafting plants, growing plants from seed, caring for plants and trees until they are ready to be planted.
As much as possible, as part of our sustainable working practices, we grow plants ourselves and collect seeds from campus to grown on rather than buying them in.
We also grow vegetables and herbs in our nursery and at our veg garden on campus, which are supplied to the university kitchens.
Some of our home grown plants can be purchased via the university online store.
We are holding a plant sale from 10am to 2pm on Thursday 27 March in The Forum Street, where you can buy a variety of high quality plants to suit all budgets. We hope to see you there!
