We’re proud to be growing produce right here on Streatham Campus, using regenerative low carbon organic methods such as crop rotations, green manures and interplanting.
In 2025 more than 2 tonnes of fresh produce were grown and used directly in the University kitchens menus – from banquets to everyday salads.

🥔 We’re trialling potatoes this year, hoping for early harvests in time for Graduation.
🫛🌽 A rainbow of bean varieties is on the way and maybe even sweetcorn ….. if our badger neighbours don’t get to it first!
🥦🥬 Winter harvests continue in small bursts; salad leaves, brassicas, kale, turnips, beetroot and the first purple sprouting broccoli.
🧅 However, our overwintering onions and spring onions were dramatically excavated by an unexpected visitor …. 🦊
