We are delighted to announce that Lower Hoopern Valley – University of Exeter, led by Dave Evans, Head of Grounds, has won the School/Educational Organisation category at this year’s Exeter Sustainability Awards.

This award recognises collaborative work to:
- enhance biodiversity,
- improve access,
- engage the community,
- deliver nature-based flood management.
These achievements have been made possible through partnerships with the Environment Agency, CREWW, and other collaborators. The valley is becoming a vibrant living lab for education, research, and a space where students, staff, and the wider community can connect with nature.
