The University’s Grounds team are delighted to be supporting Hospiscare’s Christmas Tree Collect and Recycle project again this year.
If you live in Exeter, Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton, Honiton, Sidmouth and Ottery St Mary this is a great way to recycle your Christmas tree and help Hospiscare continue to provide free palliative and end-of-life care for the local community.
In return for a donation to Hospiscare (suggested donation £20 per tree), volunteers will collect and recycle your Christmas tree.
Hospicecare volunteers will collect the tree from your home on Thursday 8th, Friday 9th or Saturday 10th January 2026.
The trees will be brought to the University’s Streatham Campus where our Grounds team will shred them and the clippings will be recycled as mulch around our grounds.
